Türkiye'de zaman zaman çok daha fazla gündeme gelen "dini içerikli" tartışmalarda çeşitli meseleler ele alınmaktadır. 1998 Ramazan ayındaki tartışmaların odak noktası ana dilde ibadet olmuştur. Mesele sadece dini içerikli bir olgu olarak değil aynı zamanda sosyal içerikli bir olgu olarak da tartışılmıştır. Makalede konunun sosyal ve kültürel boyutu ikinci plana alınarak, Kur'an tercümesinin namazda okunması meselesinin Hanefi furu ve usul kaynaklarında ele alınış biçimi ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. 

The "religious content" debate, which takes place in Turkey more and more from time to time, is dealt with by various issues. The focus of the 1998 Ramadan debate has been to worship on the main language. The issue has been discussed not only as a religious phenomenon but also as a social phenomenon. In this article, the social and cultural dimension of the subject has been taken into the second plan, and the way of reading the Qur'an translation in the prayer has been tried to be explained in Hanafi fıqh and procedural sources.
