Bu yıl Türk Dil Kurumu, Türklük biliminin çağımızdaki en önemli temsilcilerinden Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bican Ercilasun için doğumunun 80. yılında bir armağan kitap yayımladı. Bilindiği üzere Ercilasun, 1990’lı yıllarda Türk Dil Kurumu başkanlığı yapmış; bu görevi sırasında Türk diline ve kültürüne çok değerli hizmetlerde bulunmuştu. Kurum, bu armağanla bir kadirbilirlik örneği göstermiş oldu.

This year, the Turkish Language Association published a tribute book for Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bican Ercilasun, one of the most important representatives of Turkic studies in our age, on the 80th anniversary of his birth. As is well known, Prof. Ercilasun served as the president of the Turkish Language Association in the 1990s and made invaluable contributions to Turkish language and culture during his tenure. With this tribute, the Institution has shown an example of gratitude.
