Nutrient-Drug Interactions

Nutrition is essential for the continuity of a healthy life. The interaction between foods and drugs taken for diagnosis or treatment to the body causes undesirable and desirable effects. The nutritional status of the person and the medication protocol applied during the treatment process should be assessed for a successful treatment. For these, the knowledge of nutritional effects on drugs is necessary. This review provides, effects of nutritional and nutritional items on drugs,  action mechanisms of their and risk factors for these interactions.
