SUBLİNGUAL RANULA: OLGU RAPORU

ÖZETRanula ağız tabanında yer alan, tükürük bezleri veya kanalının hasarı sonucu dokuda biriken mukusa çevre dokunun verdiği cevap sonucu oluşan, submandibular veya sublingual bez orjinli mukoselleri tanımlamak için kullanılan bir terimdir. Bu olgu raporu 20 yaşında, ağız tabanında ağrısız şişlikle başvuran bir erkek hastanın klinik ve ultrasonografi bulgularını da içeren radyolojik bulgularını sunmaktadır. Sonuç olarak USG görüntüleme yöntemi ranula için kesin tanı koydurucu olmasa da tanıya yardımcı, önemli bir görüntüleme yöntemi olarak sayılabilir.Anahtar kelimeler: Ultrasonografi(USG), RanulaSUBLINGUAL RANULA: A CASE REPORTABSTRACT The term ranula is used to describe mucoceles originated from submandibular and sublingual gland occuring on the floor of the mouth developing from extravasation of mucous after damage to the salivary gland or ducts. SUBLINGUAL RANULA: A CASE REPORT

The term ranula is used to describe mucoceles originated from submandibular and sublingual gland occuring on the floor of the mouth developing from extravasation of mucous after damage to the salivary gland or ducts. This report is presented clinical and radiological findings including USG of 20 years old male patient with painless swelling on the floor of the mouth. As a result of ultrasound imaging in the diagnosis of ranula is not a definitive diagnostic imaging method but can be considered as a supporter imaging modality
