ÜÇ FARKLI NİKEL-TİTANYUM DÖNER ALET SİSTEMİNİN VÜCUT ISISINDAKI DÖNGÜSEL YORGUNLUK DİRENÇLERİNİN KARŞILAŞTIRMALI OLARAK DEĞERLENDİRİLMESI

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, üç farklı nikel-titanyum (Ni-Ti) döner eğe sisteminin vücut ısısındaki döngüsel yorgunluk dirençlerinin karşılaştırılmalı olarak değerlendirilmesidir. Yöntemler: Bu çalışmada, üç farklı Ni-Ti döner eğe sisteminden (ProTaper Universal-PU, Twisted File-TF, One Curve-OC) toplam 90 adet kanal eğesi kullanıldı. Tüm eğe grupları kanal içi sıcaklığında (35 °C), 60° eğime sahip suni kanallarda döngüsel yorgunluk direnci açısından test edildi. Sıcaklık, deney boyunca bir su altı termometresi ve bir termostat ile kontrol edildi. Kırılıncaya kadar geçen süre ve tur sayısı hesaplandı. Elde edilen sonuçlar istatistiksel olarak SPSS 23.0 (IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows, Version 23.0. Armonk, NY: IBM Corp.) paket programı ile analiz edildi. Bulgular: Eğe tipleri içerisinde, en yüksek döngüsel yorgunluk direnci OC eğelerinde (1072,327 158,272), en düşük direnç de PU eğelerinde (439,798 129,942) görüldü. Sonuç: Bu sonuçlara göre, eğimli kanallarda döngüsel yorgunluk direncinin daha yüksek olması ve kırık kısmın uzunluğunun daha fazla olması gibi avantajları sayesinde One Curve eğe sisteminin kullanımı daha avantajlı olabilir. Anahtar kelimeler: ProTaper Universal, Twisted File, One Curve, döngüsel yorgunluk direnci Abstract Objective: The aim of this study is to comparatively investigate the cyclic fatigue of three different nickel-titanium (Ni-Ti) rotary files at body temperature. Methods: A total of 90 Ni-Ti rotary instruments from 3 brands (ProTaper Universal-PU, Twisted File-TF, One Curve-OC) were selected. At intracanal temperature (35°C), all groups of files were tested for cyclic fatique resistance in artificial root canals with 60° curvature at body temperature. The time until fracture was recorded and the number of cycles were calculated for each group. The results were analyzed by statistically. Results: Among the file types, OC files (1072,327 158,272) were the most resistance to cyclic fatigue and PU files (439,798 129,942) had the lowest results. Conclusion: According to these results, the use of the One Curve file system may be advantageous due to its advantages such as higher cyclic fatigue resistance in curved canals and longer fracture length.
