Kur’an, Allah’ın yüz, el ve gözlerinden söz eder ve bazı beşeri sıfatları Allah’a atfeder. Ancak o, Allah’ı anlatan insan-biçimci ifadeleri ve insani duyguların ona atfını oldukça ihtiyatlı kullanır. İslam düşünce tarihinde bu hassas konu çerçevesinde bir çok tartışma meydana gelmiştir. Baljon, bu makalede Kur’ân’ın insan-biçimci ifadelerini onun verdiği muhtemel ipuçları yardımıyla çözmeye ve bu tür kelimeleri yorumlayanlar içerisinde kimin doğru konumda olduğunu tespit etmeye çalışmaktadır.

Qur’anıc Anthropomorphisms

The Qur’an speaks God’s face, hands and eyes and attiributes various human qualities to Him. But the Qur’an makes a clearly more sparing use of antropomorphisms and antropopathisms. In the İslamic thought a good deal of controversy has taken place on this subject. In this paper, Baljon, intend to work out Quranic antropomorphisms with the help of possible clues the Qur’an affords and to determine who are put in the right on commentary of the antropomorphic expressions.
