Taşlaşmış ve kopmuş çift J stent'in skopi eşliğinde üreterorenoskopi yardımı ile çıkarılması

Takibe gelmeyen hastalarda içerde bırakılmış olan stentler ürologlar için zorlu vakalardır. Hastalar tekrarlayan böğür ağrısı, piyelonefrit atakları, stent migrasyonu, enkrustasyonu, taşlaşması ve böbrek yetmezliğiyle sonuçlanacak obstrüksiyon nedenleri ile başvurabilirler. Nadiren uzun yerleştirme süreleri stentlerin parçalanmalarına yol açabilir. 81 yaşındaki erkek hasta dizüri ve yan ağrısı nedeniyle kliniğe kabul edildi. Özgeçmişinde bir dış merkezde 2 yıl önce üreterorenoskopi ile üreter taşı alındığı, çift J katater takıldığı bildirildi. Yapılan etetkikler sonrası hastada unutulmuş ve kopuk stentin bu yakınmalara yol açtığı belirlendi. .

Removal of fragmented and stone encrustated double J stent with ureterorenoscopy and fluoroscopic guidance

Patients with retained stents who have not followed up for a long time are difficult cases for urologists. They may be admitted to the hospitals because of several complaints like flank pain, pyelonephritic attacks, stent migration, encrustation, calcification and even renal failure due to obstruction. Rarely, long standing stents may become fragmented. In the present case, a 81 year-old woman was admitted to our inpatient clinic with initial complaints of dysuria and flank pain. Her history revealed that she had been performed ureterorenoscopy for urethral stone removal and double-j stent placing 2 years ago. After subsequent evaluations, previously forgotten and fragmented stent has been determined to be the cause of complaints of the patient.
