Küreselleşme ve Gelir Dağılımı Eşitsizliği

Bu makalede, ülkeler içinde ve ülkeler arasında küreselleşme sürecinin gelir dağılımı üzerindeki etkilerini araştıran önemli ampirik çalışmalar incelenmiş ve elde edilmiş bulguların değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Yapılan çalışmaların büyük çoğunluğunun bulgularına göre, küreselleşme sürecinde, gelir dağılımındaki eşitsizlik hem ülkeler içinde hem de ülkeler arasında artmıştır. Ancak, eşitsizlikteki artışın gelişmiş ülkelere nazaran gelişmekte olan ülkelerde daha fazla olduğu saptanmıştır. Bu konudaki bulgulara göre, 1980’lerden itibaren Türkiye’de de gelir dağılımı gittikçe daha da bozulmuştur

: This paper reviews and evaluates empirical studies concerning the impact of globalization on income distribution within countries and between countries in the world The results of overwhelming majority of the studies show that as a result of globalization income inequality has increased both within and between countries in the world However globalization impact on inequality is stronger in the developing countries than in the developed countries According to the evidence related to this topic the inequality of income distribution in Turkey has been increasing since 1980 Key words: Globalization Inequality income polarization Turkey
