Arylidene-3-amino-l,2,4-triazoles (1) were prepared by condensation of 3-ammo-l,2,4- triazole with aram°tic aldehydes. Cyclocondensation of chloroacetylchloride, plıthaloyl gylcyl chloride and mercaptoacetîc acid on (I) giving the corresponding azetidia-ones (2 and 3) and 4-thiazolidinones (4) respec*ively, in good yield.
