Infrared Spectrum of Solid Hydrogen Disulphide
The infrared absorption spectra of crystalline hydrogen disulphide is measured within the optical interval of 290-5000 cm-', the fundamentals and several combinations bands of fundamentals-lattice vibrations have been observed. The band located at 1070 cm-^ has been assigned as a combination due to and a freguency combination of the order 202 cm*', the torsional freguency which has not been detected yet. This fundamental is the ouly oscillation that can be used to prove the possibility of con- figuration of hydrogen disulphide.
