Öğrencilerinin Antibiyotiklerle Tedavi Konusunda Bilgi ve Tutumlarının Belirlenmesi

Amaç: Bu çalışmada Dumlupınar Üniversitesi Altıntaş Meslek Yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin antibiyotik kullanımı hakkındaki bilgi ve tutumları ile bunları etkileyen faktörler değerlendirilerek, öğrencilerin antibiyotik kullanımı konusundaki bilgi düzeylerine ve gereksiz antibiyotik kullanımının sınırlandırılmasına katkı sağlanması amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: 225 öğrenciye "Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Antibiyotiklerle Tedavi Konusunda Bilgi ve Tutumlarının Belirlenmesi" başlıklı anket çalışması uygulanarak, öğrencilerin sosyo-ekonomik ve demografik özellikleri ile antibiyotik kullanımları hakkındaki bilgi ve tutumları ve de bunları etkileyen faktörler belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Sonuçlar SPSS 18. istatistik paket programında değerlendirilerek, verilerin yüzde ve frekans değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırma sonuncunda öğrencilerin; doktor tavsiyesi olmadan, başkalarının ve eczacıların önerisiyle ve kendi fikirlerine göre antibiyotik kullanma oranının düşük olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca antibiyotik kullanımında kullanma talimatları ve sürelerine uygun davrandıkları saptanmıştır. Sonuçlar: Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda, öğrencilerin büyük kısmının antibiyotik kullanma konusunda bilinçli davrandıkları saptanmıştır. Demografik özellikler ile antibiyotik kullanım sürelerine dikkat etme durumları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunamamıştır (p>0.05).
