Ahalisiz Mahalleler: Türkiye Metropolünde Nüfus Hareketliliği ve Kolektif Hafıza

Bu metinde Türkiye metropollerindeki nüfus hareketliliğinin mahallelerin nüfus sirkülasyonu ve ahalinin kent mekânına ilişkin algısı üzerindeki etkisine ilişkin bir tartışma sunulacaktır. Metnin savı şudur: Mahalleyi bir temsil mekânı olarak üretme tekeli mahallelerarası nüfus hareketliliğinden etkilenmeyen kesimlerdedir. Bu kesimler temsil mekânının üretimi üzerindeki etkileri vasıtasıyla mahalleye ilişkin baskın imgeyi resmederek hem diğer mahalle sakinlerinin gündelik yaşam pratiklerini hem de Türkiye’de mahalle mefhumuna ilişkin kamusal kanıyı şekillendirmektedir.
