Kestane Gal Arısı Dryocosmus kuriphilus Yasumatsu (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae) Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Kestane gal arısı Dryocosmus kuriphilus Yasumatsu (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae), dünya kestane üretimi için en ciddi tehditlerden biri olarak görülmektedir. Kestane gal arısı, galler oluşmasına neden olarak sürgünlerin büyümesini, meyve üretimi azaltır ve sürgün ölümlerine neden olur. Ayrıca, D. kuriphilus Avrupa ve Akdeniz Bitki Koruma Organizasyonu (EPPO) tarafından bir karantina etmeni olarak sınıflandırılmaktadır. Bu tür Japonya, Kore, ABD, Nepal ve Avrupa boyunca hızlı bir şekilde yayılmaktadır. D. kuriphilus henüz ülkemizde tespit edilmemesine rağmen, bu zararlıya karşı gerekli önlemlerin alınması gerekmektedir
