HİPERTROFİK PERONEAL TÜBERKÜL İLE İLİŞKİLİ PERONEAL TENDONLARIN TENOSİNOVİTİ: MANYETİK REZONANS GÖRÜNTÜLEME BULGULARI Hypertrophic Peroneal Tubercule With Peroneal Tenosynovitis: MRI Findings
ÖZET
Kalkaneusun lateral duvarında peroneal tüberkül ve retrotroklear eminens adı verilen iki çıkıntı vardır. Peroneal
ABSTRACT
On the lateral wall of the calcaneus there are two protuberances called peroneal tubercle and retrotrochlear
eminence. In the presence of peroneal tubercle hypertrophy, chronic friction may result in tenosynovitis
and / or rupture of the peroneal tendons. A 54-years-old female patient who had complaints of increased
pain and fixed mass on the lateral aspect of the foot was subjected to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
MRI confirmed the hypertrophic peroneal tubercle and revealed tenosynovitis on the peroneal tendons.
This rare case presented with demonstrative images.
