Deniz hıyarı Holothuria Platyperona sanctori Delle Chiaje, 1823 Echinodermata: Holothuroidea türünün bazı biyolojik özellikleri

Çalışma Ege Denizi’nde Kuşadası-Didim 2012 yılında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma bölgesinde aletli dalış yapılarak toplam 340 adet Holothuria sanctori bireyi elde edilmiştir. Çalışmada türün tanımlayıcı özellikleri, habitatları, üreme ve büyüme özellikleri araştırılmıştır. Yapılan çalışmada türün karkas boyları minimum 11 cm, maksimum 25 cm, ortalama 18.1 cm olarak, karkas ağırlıkları ise minimum 51 g, maksimum 175.7 g, ortalama 100.5 g olarak belirlenmiştir
