Türkiye eriophyoid faunası için yeni bir kayıt: Aceria tulipae (Keifer, 1938) (Acarina:Eriophyoidea)

Dünyada soğan, sarımsak ve yabani buğdaygillerde ürün kayıplarına sebep olan, aynı zamanda WSMV (wheat spot mosaic virus) ve sarımsak mozaik virüsünü (garlic mosaic virus) taşıyan Aceria tulipae (Keifer, 1938) 2009-2010 yıllarında yapılan sörveylerde Kastamonu-Taşköprüde sarımsakta bulunmuştur. Bu tür Türkiye eriophyoid faunası için yeni kayıt niteliğindedir. Dünyada WSMV ve garlic mosaic virusu soğan, sarmısak ve yabani otlara naklederek önemli ürün kayıplarına yol açmaktadır.

Aceria tulipae (Keifer, 1938) New record for the Turkish eriophyoid fauna

Aceria tulipae was found on garlic plants in Taşköprü district of Kastamonu province during 2009 and 2010 years. A. tulipae is new record for the Turkish fauna. In the world this species causes yield loss as well as transporting WSMV and garlic mosaic virus to onions, garlics and wild grasses.
