Bazı çeltik çeĢitlerinin çeltik beyaz uç nematodu (Aphelenchoides besseyi, Christie)’na reaksiyonları

Çeltik beyaz uç nematodu, (Aphelenchoides besseyi) dünyada çeltik tarımı yapılan birçok yerde yaygın olup, çeltik üretiminde en önemli nematod zararlılarından birisidir. A. besseyi tohum kaynaklı olup kuru koşullarda tohumda canlılığını birkaç yıl sürdürebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, 15 çeltik çeşidinde A. besseyi yoğunlu ile verim komponentleri arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Deneme Trakya Tarımsal Araştırma Enstitüsü arazisinde 2009-2010 yıllarında yürütülmüştür. En yüksek hastalık şiddeti ya da beyaz uç belirtisi çiçeklenme döneminde görülmüştür. Hasat zamanı yapılan analizlerde salkım başına en yüksek nematod yoğunluğu 2270 A.besseyi/salkım ile Beşer çeşidinden elde edilmiştir. Çeşitlerdeki nematod yoğunluğu ile verim komponentlerindeki azalma arasındaki ilişki istatistikî olarak önemsiz çıkmıştır.

Response of some rice cultivars to rice white tip nematode (Aphelenchoides besseyi, Christie)

White tip nematode of rice (Aphelenchoides besseyi) is distributed in all regions of rice growing areas in the world which is one the most important nematode pest in rice production. A. besseyi is seed born and can survive in stored seed for several years under dry conditions. In this study, the relationship between nematode density and yield component was investigated on fifteen rice cultivars. Experiments were carried out in the experiment field of Thrace Agricultural Research Institute between the years 2009-2010. The highest disease incidence or white tip symptoms per plant was observed at the flowering stage of crop. The highest nematode number per panicle was obtained with 2270 A.besseyi/panicle from cv. Beşer. The relationship between nematode density and decreasing in yield component of varieties was statistically insignificant.
