Bu yazıda 1960, 1970 ve 1980'li dönemlerde madencilik endüstrisindeki bilgisayar uygulamalarının evrimi anlatılmıştır. Bu uygulamaların geleceği, geçmiş ve şimdiki ça­lışmalar ile bunların geleceği dönük eğilimlerine bakarak tahmin edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Sonuçta gelecekteki uygulamalar ile ilgili birkaç öneri sunulmuştur

In this paper the evolu ion c. die ce nputer applications in the mining industry through the time periods of 1960's, 1970's and 1980's has been described. The future of these applications has been tried to be predicted by looking at the past and the pre­sent work and extrapolating their trends.
