Bu yazıda, kömür tozu patlamasının oluşması ve gelişmesi ile İlgili kısa bilgi verilmektedir. Tozun patlayabil iri iğin i etkileyen bazı önemli faktörler tartışılmakta ve özellikle patlayıcı tozla savaşım çalışmalarının yönlendirilmesinde yardımcı olabilecek bazı güvenilir kriterler açıklanmaktadır. Ayrıca, patlayıcı tozla savaşımda alı­ nacak önlemler ana çizgileriyle tanıtılmaktadır.

A brief information about the mechanism of coal dust explosions is given. Some of the important factors affecting the explosibility of the dust are discussed and some reliable criteria which can be helpful in coping with the explosive dust are explained. Also the main aspects of the preventive measures against the coal dust explosions are introduced.
