Bu çalışmada öncelikle Avrupa Birliği'nin olmazsa olmaz olarak nitelendirdiği mamulün "Yeni Yaklaşım Direktifleri" ne uygunluğunu simgeleyen ve insan, hayvan ve çevre açısından sağlıklı ve güvenli olduğunu gösteren "CE" işareti incelenmiştir. Ayrıca insanlarda çevre bilincinin giderek artması sonucu ortaya çıkan ve gerek ürün, gerek faaliyet, gerekse hizmetlerin çevreye olan etkilerini sistemli bir yöntemle en aza indirmeyi hatta ortadan kaldırmayı amaçlayan, ISO 14000 - Çevre Yönetim Sistemi standartları hakkında çimento sektörü ile bağlantılı olarak bilgi verilmiştir. "CE" işareti ve ISO 14000'in çimento sektörü açısından önemi vurgulanmıştır.

In this study, the "CE" mark, which is considered as indispensable by the European Union and symbolizes product's conformity to the "New Approach Directives" and indicates that it is healthy and safe with respect to humans, animals and environment, was initially examined. Information was also provided in connection with the cement sector on ISO-14000 - Environmental Management System standards, which have emerged due to the gradual increase of environmental consciousness in people and which aim to systematically minimize and even eliminate the environmental impacts of products, activities and services. The importance of the "CE" mark and ISO 14000 with respect to the cement sector was highlighted
