DÜNYADA VE TÜRKİYE’DE JEOEKONOMİ ÇALIŞMALARI VE JEOEKONOMİ ÖĞRETİMİ

Çağımızda yaşanan ekonomik ve siyasal değişim ve dönüşüm süreci sonunda ulus-devletlerin varlığını sürdürebilme yöntemleri de değişim geçirmekte ve işbirliği/çatışma, dost/düşman algılamaları farklılaşmaktadır. Bu değişim sürecinde devletlerin daha fazla güç ve etki yaratma araçları da siyasal ve askeri olmaktan çok ekonomik yönde olmaktadır. Değişen güç ilişkilerini analiz edebilmek için de jeopolitiğin yerini jeoekonominin alması kaçınılmaz olmuştur. Günümüzde dünyanın belli başlı ülkelerinde enstitüler, akademiler ve üniversiteler aracılığı ile jeoekonomi alanında her geçen gün yeni çalışmalar yapılmakta ve üniversitelerde lisans ve lisansüstü programlarda jeoekonomi dersleri okutulmakta, jeoekonomi fakülteleri, bölümleri kurulmaktadır. Bu çalışmada jeoekonominin tanımı yapılarak dünyada jeoekonomi öğretimi ve alanda yapılan çalışmalar değerlendirilmektedir.

Dünyada Ve Türkiye’de Jeoekonomi Çalışmaları Ve Jeoekonomi Öğretimi

This article examines the behavior of nation-states‟ survival methods in today‟s transformation process; in terms of economics and politics. In this process the states‟ tools in order to gain more power and to increase their influence are more economic than political or military ones. To analyze the changing power relations geoeconomics has superseded geopolitics. In many countries academic studies on geoeconomics have been conducted through institutions, academies and universities. Also many countries have founded new research institutions on geoeconomics and many universities have hold courses on geoeconomics. In this work, geoeconomics is defined briefly and the studies on geoeconomics and geoeconomics education in the world and in Turkey are evaluated.
