Evaluation of Spinoza's Concept of Freedom in the Light of Neuroscientific Experiments

Spinoza’s philosophy is an ontology-based holistic philosophy, it has a structure that allows for versatile and opposing viewpoints. This system, which provides the opportunity to analyze both ancient and contemporary debates in philosophy with a single center with a holistic structure, provides an important ground for the philosophical discussion of the problem of freedom, which is at the focus of contemporary neuroscientific research. In contemporary psychology and neuroscience studies, there are views that deny or oppose freedom. In our article, these studies will be mentioned and philosophical analysis of the studies will be made based on Spinoza ontology
