  • Daniela Dzhonova-Atanasova was born in Vidin,
  • Bulgaria in 1963. She graduated from the Technical
  • University of Sofia, Bulgaria. There she received her
  • MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1988 and
  • her PhD degree in 1992.
  • Her research interests are in the area of Heat and
  • Mass Transfer Processes, Fluid Dynamics, Energy
  • Efficiency in Chemical Engineering and Renewable
  • Energy Resources. Since 1994 she has been working
  • at the Institute of Chemical Engineering at the
  • Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia, Bulgaria, as
  • a researcher and Assistant Professor. Since 2011 she has been an Associate
  • Professor at the Institute of Chemical Engineering. She was a lecturer in Fluid
  • Mechanics at the Technical University of Sofia, and in Ocean Energy
  • Conversion (in English) at the European Polytecnical University, Pernik.
