Marmara Denizi’nde Gemilerden Kaynaklanan Egzoz Emisyonları

Exhaus Gas Emissions From Ships in Marmara Sea

Ships are very important emissions sources with high powered marine engines which use fossil fuels. There are many adverse effects of these emissions on the environment and human health. The effects of these emissions are felt especially in inland waters, channals, gulfs and port regions. In this paper, shipping emissions are estimated in Marmara Sea. The annual emission are estimated as 605e+3 t NOx, 495e+3 t SO2, 29.63e+6 t CO2, 25.6e+3 t HC and 53.3e+3 t PM , and the vessels are consumed 9.33e+6 tons of fuel. The hourly gridded emissions will be obtained for furher studies about air pollution models.
