OVERİN BENİGN BRENNER TÜMÖRÜ:RASTLANTISAL BİR TANI

Brenner tümörleri overin nadir görülen transizyonel hücreli tümörleridir.Genellikle benign tümörlerdir ancak daha ender olarak borderline ve malign tipleri de vardır.Benign Brenner tümörlerinin çoğu küçüktür ve rastlantısal olarak bulunur.Olgumuz myomektomi nedeniyle laporotomi yapılan 42 yaşındaki kadın hastaydı.Laporotomide sağ overde rastlantısal olarak solid kitle bulundu.Sağ overdeki kitle eksize edildi ve histopatolojik incelemede benign Brenner tümörü tanısı konuldu.Yazımızda bu nadir olgunun histolojik bulguları sunularak literatür gözden geçirilmektedir.

Benign Brenner tumor of the ovary:An incidental diagnosis

Brenner tumors are rare transitional cell tumors of the ovary. They are usually benign tumors but rarely have borderline and malignant types.Most of the benign Brenner tumors are small and are incidentally found. Our case was a 42-year-old woman who underwent laparotomy for myomectomy.On laparotomy,a solid mass was incidentally found on the right ovary.The right ovarian mass was excised and benign Brenner tumor was diagnosed histopathologically.In this paper,histological findings of this rare patient are presented,and the literatüre is reviewed.
