Morel (Morchella) mushroom

Morels, belonging to Morchellaceae family, is one of the significant mushroomswhen it comes to its commercial value. Since it can be seen almost everywhere in thecountry, Turkey is regarded as one the most significant exporters. In this reviewstudy, some studies related to its nutritional value, history, ecological needs, commercial value, acceptance to culture, morphological and molecular identificationhave been gathered. This compilation is considered as beneficial for the scientistsinvolved in studies related to the subject and for those who need to get informationabout it.
