Erodium olympicum Gemici & Leblebici (Geraniaceae)’un Taksonomik Durumu

Öz: Hem Erodium olympicum Gemici & Leblebici hem de Erodium sibthorpianum Boiss. subsp. sibthorpianum Bursa, Uludağ’dan bilinen dar yayılışlı endemik türlerdir. Bu iki bitki taksonu, birbirinden çok az karakterle ayrılmıştır. Uludağ’dan toplanan örnekler üzerinde yapılan ayrıntılı çalışmalar, 1995 yılında Erodium olympicum Gemici & Leblebici olarak tanımlanan taksonun, 1842 yılında tanımlanan Erodium sibthorpianum Boiss. subsp. sibthorpianum taksonunun sinonimi olduğunu göstermiştir. Ayrıca Erodium olympicum Gemici & Leblebici’un homonimi ve Erodium absinthoides Willd.’in sinonimi kabul edilen, Erodium olympicum Clementi’un taksonomik durumu ise nomen nudum olarak değerlendirilmiştir.

The Taxonomic Status of Erodium olympicum Gemici & Leblebici (Geraniaceae)

Abstract: Both Erodium olympicum Gemici & Leblebici and Erodium sibthorpianum Boiss. subsp. sibthorpianum taxa are narrow endemic species known from Uludağ-Bursa. These plant taxa have been separated from each other with very few characters. Comprehensive studies on samples collected from Uludağ showed that the taxon described in 1995 as Erodium olympicum Gemici & Leblebici, is synonymous of the Erodium sibthorpianum Boiss. subsp. sibthorpianum described in 1842. Also, the taxonomic status of Erodium olympicum Clementi, which is known as one of the synonyms of Erodium absinthoides Willd. and is a homonym of Erodium olympicum Gemici & Leblebici, is evaluated as nomen nudum.
