Astragalus vestitus’un Fabaceae yeniden keşfi: Kılbasan Geveni; Karadağ’ın Karaman / Türkiye lokal endemik bir türü
Kılbasan geveni Astragalus vestitus Boiss. & Heldr. ilk olarak Orta Anadolu’da, Karadağ Karaman civarından yaptığı bir gezi sırasında Heldreich tarafından toplanmış ve Boissier ve Heldreich tarafından 1849 yılında bilim dünyasına tanıtılmıştır. Bu çalı şmada, Karadağ için lokal endemik olan ve tip örneğinden bilinen tür, Karadağ’da yapılan arazi çalışmaları sırasında yeniden toplanmıştır. Türün orijinal betiminde yetersiz olan çiçek, meyve, tohum gibi yapılara ait özellikler toplanan örneklerin incelenmesiyle yeniden değerlendirilmiş ve yeni bulgular ışığında türün betimi yeniden yapılmıştır. Türkiye Bitkileri Kırmızı Kitabı’na göre ‘Veri yetersiz’ DD kategorisinde olan bu tür için IUCN’e göre ‘Çok Tehlikede’ CR kategorisi önerilmiştir.

The Rediscovery of Astragalus vestitus Fabaceae : A Local Endemic Species of Karadağ Karaman / Turkey
The first specimens of Astragalus vestitus Boiss. & Heldr. were collected by Heldreich during an expedition to the area around Karadağ Karaman , Central Anatolia and these specimens were described as new species by Boissier and Heldreich in 1849. In this study, the species, which is a local endemic taxon and known from type specimen, was rediscovered during the fieldwork in Karadağ. The characters, which are insufficient, in the original description, related to the flower, legume, seed and etc. are updated according to the current knowledge. It is proposed as ‘Criticaly Endangered’ CR category according to the IUCN criteria while this species was classified as ‘Data Deficient DD according to the Red Data Book of Turkish Plants
