Kent Ormanlarının Sosyal ve Çevresel İşlemlerinin Kullanıma Dayalı Bozulma Süreci

Gelişmiş ülkelerde kentin fiziksel yapısını dengeleme, insan ve çevre sağlığına olumlu katkılarda bulunma amacıyla oluşturulan ağaçlandırılmış alanlar ile kent yakın çevresinde ve kırsalında yer alan ormanlık alanlar son yıllarda artan koruma çabalan ve gösterilen özen sonucu kentlilerin rekreatif etkinliklerini karşılayabilecek yeşil adalar olarak önem kazanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, Avrupa'da kent ormancılığı çalışmaları ile Belçika'da Brüksel Kenti'nin sahip olduğu yeşiî ağ hakkında bilgi verilerek, kentte kamu kurumlan ile gönüllü sivil toplum örgütlerinin üstlendikleri çalışmaların tanıtımı yapılmaktadır. Ayrıca Brüksel Kenti'nde yeşil ağm bir parçası olan "Soignes" kent ormanında rekreasyon, turizm ve eğitim amaçlı etkinlikler sonucu duyarlı orman ekosistemlerinde yaşanan bozulma ve değişim süreci de ortaya konmuştur.

The Process of Deterioration Due To The Usage Of Social And Environmental Functions Of Urban Forests

With the increased attempts of protection and care, forests located in the suburbs and rural areas of cities and tree plantations which serve the purpose of balancing the physical structure of the city and settlement of individual and environmental health, have earned increasing importance as green islands which can meet the demand for recreational activities. In this study, the activities carried out in the city by governmental organizaitions and volunteering non-governmental organizations are being introduced after information has been provided about urban forestiy in Europe and the green network possessed by Brussels City in Belgium. In addition, the process of deterioration and change at sensitive forest ecosystems as a result of recreational, tourism and educational activities has been discussed v/'vh the example of "Soignes Forest" urban forest in Brussels, Belgium.
