Lomber disk operasyonu sonrası spinal kanalda toplanan gazın oluşturduğu kök basısı

Lomber sinir kökü basısına neden olan intraspinal gaz toplanması sınırlı sayıda olguda tanımlanmıştır. Biz bu çalışmamızda, sol L5-S1 diskal herni operasyonu sonrası L4-L5 seviyesinde spinal kanalda gaz toplanmasına bağlı solda düşük ayak gelişen bir olgu sunduk. Literatür değerlendirmesi yaparak sinir köküne ve dural keseye bası yapan intraspinal gaz birikiminin fizyopatolojisini ve tedavisini değerlendirdik.

Radicular compression due to gases accumulated in spinal canal after lumbar disc surgery

Lumbar nerve root compression caused by intraspinal gas collection has been described in limited of patient. In this our study, we presented a patient operated for left L5-S1 level disc herniation, developing intraspinal gas collection at left L4-L5 level after operation, resulting foot drop. The pathophysiology and management of an epidural collection of gas compressing nerve root and thecal sac were evaluated based on a review of the literature.
