ÖZTarihten bu yana epistemolojiden besle-nerek bugüne gelen sosyal epistemoloji, bilgi felsefesinden kopmuş olsa da çalışma yönte-mini değiştirmemiştir. Sosyal epistemoloji kişinin bilmeye başlaması sürecini izler. Toplumun entelektüel hareketlerini takip ederek, bireylerin bilgi varlığını ve üretkenli-ğini, bu bilginin bilimsellik derecesinde topluma ne ölçüde yansıdığını inceler.Bilgi topluma mal edildikçe taşıdığı teh-like ve kirlilik artmaktadır. Dolayısıyla gü-nümüzde bilginin toplumsal akıntıya kapıl-mış olması gerçeği yadsınamazken, bilimsel-leşmiş olan bilginin gerçek anlamda toplum-sallaşma sürecini izlemek de sosyal episte-molojiye düşmektedir. Sosyal epistemoloji basit bir sistem analizi değil bilimsel bilginin topluma ulaşmasından sonraki aşamanın takip edilmesidir. Ekonomi alanında da bilgi yönetiminin ve semantik webin gücü tartı-şılmaz durumdadır. Web 2.0 ile gittikçe yaygınlaşan sosyal ağ kullanımı sosyal epis-temolojinin çalışma alanının bir parçasını oluşturmaktadır. Türkiye sosyal medya kul-lanımında birçok ülkeyi geçmiş olsa da bu kullanımın niteliğinin ne olduğu henüz tam olarak bilinmemektedir. Bu düğümü çözmek ise sosyal epistemoloji üzerine eğilmekle mümkün olacaktır. Bu eğilim ise çalışmanın özgünlüğü açısından oldukça önemlidir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Epistemoloji, toplumsal bilgi, küreselleşme. ABSTRACTSocial epistemology, which has fed on epis-temology throughout history, hasn’t changed its study method although it has separated itself from knowledge philosophy. Social epistemolo-gy follows the process after a person begins to know. Following society’s intellectual move-ments, it studies individuals’ knowledge posses-sion and productivity, and to what extend this knowledge is reflected onto society scientifical-ly.As long as knowledge is attributed to socie-ty, the danger and pollution it carries increases. Therefore, while the fact that knowledge falls in the social flow today cannot be denied, the task of following the socialization process of scien-tific knowledge falls to social epistemology. Social epistemology is not a simple system analyzing; it is the following of the process after the scientific knowledge reaches society. There is no doubt that the socialization of information and semantics web are very strong in economy as well. The social network, which is gradually becoming widespread with web 2.0, constitutes Social Epistemology’s study field. Although Turkey has left behind several coun-tries in terms of using social media, the qualifi-cation of this usage isn’t known. As for untying this knot, it will be possible with social episte-mology. And this is quite significant in terms of the originality of study.Key Words: Epistemology, social knowledge, globalization
