Farklı Yüzey Örtücü Uygulamalarının Kompozit Rezinin Yüzey Pürüzlülüğüne Etkisi

Bu çalışmanın amacı farklı yüzey örtücü uygulamalarının bir nanofil hibrit kompozit rezinin yüzey pürüzlülüğüne olan etkisini araştırmaktır. Nanofil kompozit reçine kullanılarak otuz beş disk şeklinde numune hazırlandı ve yüzeyleri alüminyum oksit diskler ile düzeltildi. Yüzey örtücü uygulamaları öncesi ve sonrası, ortalama yüzey pürüzlülük değerleri Ra bir profilometre ile ölçüldü ve sonuçlar istatistiksel olarak tek yönlü ANOVA ve Tukey testi ile değerlendirildi. Test edilen uygulamaların hiçbirinde yüzey pürüzlülüğü azalmadı. Kontrol grubu ile Equia Coat ve tek aşamalı Single Bond uygulamaları arasında istatistiksel bir fark saptanmazken, iki aşamalı Single Bond uygulaması ve Protect-it uygulaması yüzey pürüzlülüğünde artışa neden oldu. Test edilen yüzey örtücü işlemlerinden hiç biri aliminyum oksit diskler ile bitirilmiş nanofill kompozit rezinin yüzey pürüzlülüğünü azaltamamıştır

Effect of different surface sealing applications on surface roughness of a composite resin

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of different surface sealing applications on the surface roughness of a nanofill hybrid composite resin. Thirty five disc-shaped specimens were made by using a nanofill composite resin 3M Z550 and finished with aluminium oxide discs. Before and after surface sealant applications, average surface roughness values Ra were measured with a profilometry and the results were statistically evaluated by using two-way ANOVA and Tukey’s test. None of the tested applications improved the surface roughness. There was not a statistical different between control and Equia Coat and one step Single Bond application however two step Single Bond application and Protect it caused an increased surface roughness. Tested surface sealants did not improved the roughness of nanofill composite resin finished with aluminum oxide discs
