Primer varikoselli olgularda safenofemoral yetmezlik

Amaç: Primer venöz yetmezlik ile primer varikosel arasında patofizyolojik ve hemodinamik açıdan sıkı ilişki bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışma ile, primer varikoseli olan ve olmayan genç erkeklerdeki safenofemoral yetmezlik sıklığım renkli Doppler ultrasonografi ile değerlendirmeyi amaçladık. Gereç ve yöntem: Varikosel tespit edilen 42 genç erkek birey ve varikoseli olmayan 22 sağlıklı genç erkek birey prospektlf çalışmaya dahil edildi.Tüm bireylerdeki pampiniform pleksus venteri ve safenofemoral bileşkeler yetmezlik,yönünden değerlendirildi. Venöz reflünün değerlendirilmesinde renkli Doppler ultrasonografi, venöz çapların ölçümünde ise B-mod ultrasonografi kullanıldı. Saphenofemoral insufficiency in patients with primary varicocele

Aim: Close physiopathologic and hemodynamic relationships take place between primary varicose veins and primary varicocele. It was aimed to evaluate the frequency of incompetence of saphenofemoral junction in young men with and without primary varicocele by color Doppler ultrasound. Material and methods: Forty-two young men with varicocele and 22 healthy young men without varicocele were included in this prospective study. All of the cases were evaluated for the incompetenceof pampiniform plexus veins and saphenofemoral junction. Color Doppler ultrasonography was used for evaluation of venous reflux, whereas B-mode ultrasonography was used for determination of venous diameter.
