THOMAS HOBBES'UN SOSYAL SÖZLEŞME TEORİSİNİN NİETZSCHE'NİN SİYASET FELSEFESİ DOĞRULTUSUNDA KARŞILAŞTIRILARAK DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Devletin kökenini açıklamaya çalışan teorilerden, günümüzün liberal düzeni doğrultusunda, üzerinde en çok durulan ve en çok tartışılan teoriler sosyal sözleşme teorileri olmuştur. Thomas Hobbes ise hem mutlakiyetçi görüşleri hem de sosyal sözleşme teorisini üzerine kurduğu sistematik ve materyalist bakış açısı ile diğer sosyal sözleşmecilerden farklılaşmaktadır. Aykırı bir filozof olarak nitelendirilen Friedrich Nietzsche ise, görüşleri nazizm ve anarşizm gibi birbirinden çok farklı iki siyasî akıma kaynak oluşturmuş olsa da, siyaset felsefesi dendiğinde akla ilk gelen isimlerden değildir. Bunda, Nietzsche'nin sistematikten uzak ve edebî bir üslup ile yazması da etkili olmuştur. Ancak, gereken özen gösterildiğinde Nietzsche'nin de belli bir siyaset felsefesine sahip olduğu anlaşılacaktır. Bu felsefe, özellikle sosyal sözleşme teorisi açısından ciddî eleştiriler getirebilecek niteliktedir. Hobbes ve Nietzsche'nin felsefeleri arasındaki benzer noktalar ise, iyimser nihilizm ile Hobbes'un sosyal sözleşme teorisinin karşılaştırılmasını özellikle ilginç kılmaktadır.

Comp arative Evaluation of Thomas Hobbes ' Social Contract Theory in Line with Nietzsche's Political Philosop hy

Social contract theories are the most widely deliberated and discussed of the theories striving to explain the origin of the state with the influence of the current liberal order. Thomas Hobbes, on the other hand, diverges from the other social contract theoreticians both in its absolutist views and the systematic and materialist perspective on which his social contract theory is based upon. Friedrich Nietzsche, though, is not one of the first names to come to mind when the subject is political philosophy although his views have nurtured two vastly different political currents such as nazism and anarchism. Nietzsche's style which is far from systematic and highly literary has also played a part in this. However, if due diligence is shown, it becomes apparent that Nietzsche has a certain political philosophy. This philosophy is especially potent to direct serious critique to the social contract theory. Moreover, similarities between the philosophies of Hobbes and Nietzsche renders the comparison of the optimistic nihilism and the social contract theory of Thomas Hobbes especially interesting.
