Bu çalışmada, Eczacılık Fakültesi öğrencilerinin meslek seçim­lerini etkileyen faktörleri ve eczacılık mesleği hakkındaki görüşlerini saptamayı amaçladık. Çalışma 1992-1993 öğretim yılında Ankara Üniversitesi Ecza­cılık Fakültesi öğrencilerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Tanımlayıcı tipte bir çalışmadır. Bilgiler toplam 229 öğrenciden anket yöntemi ile toplanmıştır. Öğrencilerin %47.6 sının hiç düşünmeden bu mesleği seçtiği, bu seçimde en etkili faktörün aile olduğu saptanmıştır (%47.8). Öğrencilerin % 60 dan fazlası çalışma alam olarak serbest eczacılığı düşünmekte ve % 65 i meslekleri hakkında kuşku duyduklarını belirt­mektedirler. Bulgular tablolar halinde sunulmuş ve istatistiksel önemlilik test­leri ile değerlendirilmiştir

The aim of this study was to determine the factors effecting the choice and their opinions for the pharmacy profession. The study was conducted at the Ankara University, Faculty of Pharmacy in 1992-1993 school year. It was a descriptive study and the data were obtained from 229 students with a questionnaire form. Among the students 47.6 % were not considering pharmacy as a profession before coming to this school. The major factor in choosing their profession was reported to be the family (47.8 %). More than 60 % of the students were planning to have a private pharmacy practice and 65 % had doubts for the future in their pro­fessions. The results are presented in the tables and the tests for statistical significance were performed
