Rönesans Dönemi İngiliz Tiyatrosunda Osmanlı Türkleri

Rönesans Dönemi İngiliz tiyatrosunda, Osmanlı Türklerini bizzat konu eden, veya onlara gönderme yapan çok sayıda eser mevcuttur. Bu araştırmanın konusu Rönesans Dönemi İngiliz tiyatrosunda William Shakespeare, Christopher Marlowe, Thomas Kyd, Ben Jonson, Robert Davenport, Lodowick Carlell ve John Mason gibi yazarların eserlerindeki Türk imgesini genel olarak incelemektir.

Ottoman Turks in the English Renaissance Period

Many plays have been composed about the Ottoman Turks in the English Renaissance Period. The main aim of this article is to study the image of the Turks, represented in the plays of playwrights such as William Shakespeare, Christopher Marlowe, Thomas Kyd, Ben Jonson, Robert Davenport, Lodowick Carlell ve John Mason.
