Labor migration in contemporary Africa and its effects on socio-cultural systems of its native people has been analyzed in many studies. However, it is only recently that labor migration of Mossi and Sudan people to Ghana old golden beach every year has attracted attention. According to the estimations of Ghana and French governments, Mossies make up more than 100.000 of the 320.000 immigrants in Ghana, and this number constitutes the largest group of the immigrants. This article examines the effects of labor migration in Mossi society as well as the current condition of the two parts in the South of Mossi country.
