Ankara'daki müzelerde ziyaretçi profillerinin ve motivasyonlarının değerlendirilmesi

Dünya genelinde, azalan devlet desteği nedeniyle, müzelerin kaynak bulmak amacıyla, ziyaretçilerine yöneldikleri görülmektedir. Budoğrultuda yapılan araştırmanın amacı; Ankaradaki müze ziyaretçilerinin profil ve motivasyonlarını anlamak, böylece müzelere olanziyaretlerinin muntazam aktif katılıma dönüşmesine yardımcı olacak stratejilerin geliştirilebilmesine olanak sağlamaktır. Ankaranınönde gelen beş müzesinde yapılan çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre, bu müzelerin ziyaretçiler için eğitim konusunda önemli bir role sahipolduğu görülmektedir. Müzelere yapılan ziyaretlerin artması için, gerek içsel gerek reklam ve promosyon gibi dışsal bazı faktörler önemtaşımaktadır. Araştırma sonuçları özellikle dışsal faktörlerin, Ankarada, müzeleri zaman zaman ziyaret eden grup için önemli bir iticigüç olabileceğine dikkat çekmektedir.

Evaluation of visitor profiles and motivations at Ankara museums

Museums all over the world appear to be targeting their visitors for resources, thanks to diminishing state support. Te purpose of this studyis to recognize the profiles and motivations of visitors to museums in Ankara, in order to provide for the development of strategies thatwill help translate these visits to regular active participation. Te results of the study conducted at Ankara s five principal museums showthat these museums play a significant part in education for the visitors. Certain internal and external factorssuch as advertising andpromotionare essential to boost museum visits. Study results call attention to external factors in particular, as driving forces for recurrentmuseum visitors.
