NAZAL AIRWAY KULLANILMADAN VE NAZAL AIRWAY KULLANILARAK NAZAL FİBEROPTİK BRONKOSKOPİ UYGULAMASI: MANKEN ÇALIŞMASI
Amaç: Manken üzerinde gerçeklefltirilen nazal fiberoptik bronkoskopide (FOB) nazal airway (NA) kullan›lmas›n›n FOB’nin vokal kordlar› geçifl süresine ve baflar›s›na olan etkisini araflt›rmakt›r. Yöntem: Etik kurul onay› ve gönüllü onam› al›nd›ktan sonra 2 gruba ayr›lan 21 araflt›rma görevlisi ve 14 uzman hekime çal›flmadan önce NA kullan›larak manken üzerinde FOB’un nas›l uygulanaca¤› gösterildi. Çal›flmada nazal konkalar› mevcut olan Nasco LF03699U marka manken ve 3,7 x 65 mm eriflkin tip fiberoptik bronkoskop kullan›ld›. Her uygulay›c› 2 kez NA kullanarak, 2 kez de kullanmadan toplam 4 kez FOB yapt›. Vokal kordlardan geçifl süreleri ve giriflim say›lar› kaydedildi. Tüm uygulay›c›lar›n giriflim sürelerinin ortalamalar›yla, giriflim say›lar› kendi içinde ve gruplar aras›nda karfl›laflt›r›ld›. Bulgular: Araflt›rma görevlilerinin NA’s›z 1. ve 2. FOB giriflim süreleri aras›nda fark yoktu (p>0.05).
Objective: To compare the effectiveness of using a nasal airway (NA) for nasal fiberoptic bronchoscopy (FOB), as judged by the time to FOB, and the success of FOB. Method: After the approval of the ethics committee, and the voluntary consent, 21 residents and 14 specialists were allocated into 2 groups. Nasco LF03699U manikin and 3.7 x 65 mm adult fiberoptic bronchoscope were used in the study. Each participant performed 4 nasal FOBs with (twice) and without (twice) a NA. Time to FOB, and number of attempts were recorded. Times to nasal FOB on the 1 st and 2 nd attempts were compared within and between the groups. Results: Time to attempt nasal FOB with or without NA were similar in both residents (p>0.05). Time to attempt nasal FOB without NA on the 2 nd were significantly shorter in specialists (p0.05). Both residents and specialists performed FOB in a shorter time in their 1 st attempts at NA (p
