Kardiyak arrest sonrası pnömomediastinum

Pnömomediastinum, alveolar rüptür ve trakeobronşiyal ağaç boyunca hava diseksiyonuna yol açan intratorasik basınç değişikliklerinden sonra görülür. Pnömomediastinum semptomlarını benzer klinik bulguları olan ve acil tedavi gerektiren kardiyak tamponad, anjina pektoris, pulmoner emboli gibi durumlardan ayırt etmek önemlidir. Bu olgu sunumunda, kardiyak arresti takiben yapılan kardiyak masaj sonrası pnömomediastinum gelişen hasta ve pnömomediastinum gelişebilecek durumların literatürlerle anlatılması amaçlanmıştır.

Pneumomediastinum after cardiac arrest

Pneumomediastinum is seen after intrathoracic pressure changes leading to alveolar rupture and dissection of air along the tracheobronchial tree. It is important to distinguish pneumomediastinum symptoms from similar clinical findings that require immediate treatment such as cardiac tamponade, angina pectoris, pulmoner embolism. In this case report it is aimed to describe a patient that occurs pneumomediastinum after cardiac massage following cardiac arrest and discuss pnemomediastinum with literatures.
