Anestezi uygulanacak çoçuk hastaların ebeveynlerinin anksiyeteleri üzerine müziğin etkisi

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı manyetik rezonans görüntüleme (MRG) yapılacak çocuk hastaların ebeveynlerinde müziğin anksiyete üzerine etkisini araştırmaktır. Yöntem: Manyetik rezonans görüntüleme yapılan 140 çocuk hastanın ebeveynleri çalışmaya dahil edildi. Ebeveynler randomize olarak iki gruba ayrıldı. Birinci gruptakilere çocukları işlemde iken beğendikleri bir enstrümantal müzik dinletildi. İkinci gruptakilere dinletilmedi. Anksiyeteyi değerlendirmek için duruma özel anksiyete skoru kullanıldı. Ayrıca çocukların da işlem öncesi ve sonrası anksiyete skorları kaydedildi. Bulgular: Gruplar arasında işlem öncesi ve sonrası anksiyete ve çocuk anksiyetesi açısından fark bulunamadı. Effect of music on parental anxiety those children undergoing anesthesia

Objective: The aim of this study was to examine the efects of music on parental anxiety whose children undergone a magnetic resonance (MR) imaging procedure. Method: Parents of one hundred and forty children sheduledfor MR imaging were included in the study. The parents of each patient were randomized to 2 groups. Parents in the group 1 listened preferred enstrümantal music while group 2 was control. State Trait Anxety Inventroy (STAI) was used in order to evaluate anxiety. Additionally anxiety score of patients were recorded pre and postoperatively. Results: Both pre and postoperative parental and children anxiety scores did not differ between groups. There were no statistically significant change in pre and postoperative continuity anxiety score while the state anxiety levels reduced significantly for both groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: Listen to music has no significant effect on anxiety of parents whose children undergoing a MR imaging procedure.
