The Mediatıng Role of Internal Attribution Driven Person-Job Fit in the Effect of Intellectual Stimulation on Self-efficacy

In this study, it is aimed to investigate the effect of intellectual stimulation as transformational leadership behavior, on self-efficacy and mediating role of person-job fit in this relationship from the perspective of internal attribution theory. For this purpose, a quantitative study based on regression tests were conducted. The data obtained from 206 employees of a service company operating in Ankara were used in the analyses. As a result of the analyses, it is determined that intellectual stimulation affects self-efficacy and person-job fit has a mediating role in this relationship. This study makes significant contributions to the literature of organizational behavior by asserting that the effect of transformational leadership behavior on self-efficacy perception is a result of cognitive and internal attribution driven processes within the framework of from job to person person-job fit.
