Kadın cinsel fonksiyon bozukluklarında fitoterapi

İnsan yaşamının önemli ve vazgeçilmez bir parçası olan cinsellik, biyo-psiko-sosyal nedenlere, kronik hastalıklara ve uygulanan tedavilere bağlı olarak olumsuz yönde etkilenebilmektedir. Cinsel fonksiyon bozukluklarının tedavisinde medikal ve cerrahi yaklaşımların yanı sıra fitoterapi de kullanılmaktadır. Bu derleme makale, kadın cinsel fonksiyonlarının geliştirilmesinde sık kullanılan Tribulus Terrestris, Yohimbin, Ginseng, Crocus Sativus, Maca, Ashwagandha, Mucuna Pruriens, Muira Puama, Ginkgo, Damiana, Black Cohosh gibi bitkisel ilaçlar hakkında literatür bilgisinin paylaşılması amacıyla yazıldı.

Phytotherapy in female sexual dysfunctions

Sexuality, an important and indispensable part of human life, can be adversely affected by bio-psycho-social causes, chronic diseases, and the treatments applied. Besides medical and surgical approaches, phytotherapy is also used in the treatment of sexual dysfunctions. This review article was written to share knowledge about herbal medicines such as Tribulus Terrestris, Yohimbine, Ginseng, Crocus Sativus, Maca, Ashwagandha, Mucuna Pruriens, Muira Puama, Ginkgo, Damiana, and Black Cohosh which are frequently used in the development of female sexual functions.
