Bingöl Üniversitesi Öğrencilerinin Gelir-Tüketim İlişkisi

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Bingöl Üniversitesi öğrencileri- nin gelir-tüketim ilişkisini, toplam harcamanın har- cama grupları itibariyle dağılımını tespit etmektir. Buamacı gerçekleştirebilmek için 600 öğrenciye Kasım- Aralık 2013 tarihinde anket uygulanmıştır. Uygulanananketlerden elde edilen veriler kullanılarak, öğrenci- lerin gelir-tüketim ilişkileri ve 8 adet harcama grubu- nun toplam harcama içerisindeki yeri tespit edilmeyeçalışılmıştır. Bu harcama gruplarının gelir esneklikleriengel fonksiyonları yardımıyla bulunmuştur. Yapılananalizde tüm harcama gruplarında yer alan harcama- lar öğrenciler için zorunlu harcamalar olduğu tespitedilmiştir. Ayrıca harcama grupları için tespit edilen enuygunfonksiyonel kalıplarının cinsiyet gölge değişkenlimodelleri de tahmin edilmiştir. Bu modellere göre kızve erkek öğrencilerin gıda, giyim- ayakkabı, barınma,ulaşım, haberleşme, kişisel bakım ve sigara ve alkollüiçecek harcama gruplarının birbirinden farklı olduğu,eğitim-öğretim harcamaları için ise birbirinden farklıolmadığı tespit edilmiştir

Income-Consumption Relations for the Students of Bingöl University

The aim of this paper is to determine the Bingöl Univer- sity students income-consumption relationship amongthe distribution of total expenditure with respect to ex- penditure groups. In order to accomplish this goal aquestionnaire was applied to 600 students in Novem- ber-December 2013. Using the data obtained from thequestionnaires, students income-consumption relati- onships and the place of 8 expenditure groups in thetotal expenditure were tried to be determined. Incomeelasticity of these expenditure groups was found withthe help of Engelfunction. When analyzing the data, itisfound that the expenditures of all expenditure groupswere mandatory expenditures for students. In additi- on, gender-shade variable models of the most optimalfunctional patterns determined for expenditure groupswere estimated. According to these models, it was deter- mined that the expenditures offood, clothing-footwear,sheltering, transportation, communication, personalcare and cigarettes and alcoholic beverage of girls andboys were di fferentfrom each other, whereas the expen- ditures of education were not di fferentfrom each other.
