Öz The fundamental physical properties of sod-podzolic soils under long-term field experiment were studied. The results showed that these properties have not changed significantly under the influence of nearly 100 years of liming, chemical and organic fertilization. The significant differences of approximation parameters of dependence penetration resistance from soil moisture content indicated that the application of manure increased interparticle contacts within the studied moisture range. This approximation parameters allow to affirm the significant increase interparticle forces by decreasing moisture content in the control and lime treatments compared with the others ones that resulted from the sand fractions increasing in granulometric composition of control treatment soils and aggregation of particles due to the influence of lime (lime treatment).
