Primer Parotis Tüberkülozu: Olgu Sunumu

Primer tüberküloz enfeksiyonu en sık akciğerler, kemik, meninks ve lenf nodu tutulumu ile karşımıza çıkar. Nadir olmakla birlikte primer parotis tüberkülozu parotis kitlesi olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Tanısı ince iğne aspirasyon biyopsisi ile konulabilir. Tanı konulamayan vakalarda parotidektomi sonrası patolojik piyesin incelenmesi ile ''kazeifikasyon nekrozu ve granülomatöz iltihap'' görülmesi primer parotis tüberkülozunu düşündürmektedir. Bu yazıda sağ primer parotis tüberküloz enfeksiyonu olan bir olgu literatür verileri eşliğinde sunulmuştur.

Primary Parotid Tuberculosis: A Case Report

Primary tuberculosis infection mostly involve the lungs, bones, meninx and lymph nodes. The diagnosis can be made by fine-needle aspiration biopsy. The "caseification necrosis and granulomatous inflammation" revealed by the histopathological examination of the specimen following the parotidectomy indicates primary parotid gland tuberculosis in the cases in which the diagnosis cannot be made by fine-needle aspiration biopsy. In this article, we discuss a case with primary tuberculosis infection in the right parotid gland in the light of the relevant literature.
