ABSTRACTThe Importance of Lifestyle Changes to Prevent the Transmission to Diabetes of Individuals with PrediabetesDiabetes along with obesity, sedentary lifestyle and unhealthy diet has increased worldwide. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the number of the studies aiming to prevent Type 2 diabetes with life style change on the people who have a high risk of diabetes, Impaired Glucose Tolerance, Impaired Fasting Glucose or heavy insulin resistance. The purpose of this compiled article is to enlighten the applications aiming to prevent or delay diabetes development of patients with prediabetes in accordance with practises based on evidence. Keywords: Prediabetes; lifestyle modification; evidence-based practices.
