Pamuk beyazsineği, Bemisia tabaci (Genn.) (Homoptera:Aleyrodidae)'ye karşı azadırachtın'in etkinliği üzerine bir araştırma

Bu çalışmada, farklı azadirachtin dozlarının (10, 20, 40, 60 ppm) Bemisia tabaci (Genn.)’nin değişik gelişme dönemleri üzerine olan etkileri araştırılmıştır. Ergin öncesi dönemlerde yapılan uygulamalarla yumurta, larva, pupa ve ergin gelişimi takip edilmiş ve ergin dönemi uygulamaları ile yumurtlama gücü ve uzaklaştırıcı etkiler araştırılmıştır. Çalışma, iklim odalarında, 26±1°C sıcaklık, %60±5 nem ve 14 saat gün uzunluğunda yürütülmüştür. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, azadirachtin dozlarından hiçbiri B. tabaci’nin yumurta açılımını etkilememiştir. Birinci dönem larvalara uygulanan 10, 20, 40 ve 60 ppm’lik azadirachtin dozları larvaların gelişmesini olumsuz olarak etkilemiş ve bu larvalardan ergin çıkış oranı sırası ile %56.3, %38.9, %25.5 ve %0.0 olarak bulunmuştur. Bu oran kontrolde %86.3 olarak bulunmuştur. Üçüncü dönem larvalara uygulanan aynı dozlarda ise ergin çıkış oranları sırası ile %91.1, %71.0, %18.9, %0.0 ve kontrolde %94.4. olarak saptanmıştır. Uzaklaştırma denemelerinde 20, 40 ve 60 ppm’lik dozlarda, doz artışına bağlı olarak uzaklaştırıcı etkinin arttığı saptanmıştır. B. tabaci’nin yumurtlama gücü üzerine ise kullanılan azadirachtin dozlarının etkili olmadığı görülmüştür.

The research on the effects of azadirachtin on cotton whitefly, Bemisia tabaci (Genn.) (Homoptera: Aleyrodidae)

In this study, the effects of azadirachtin concentrations (10, 20, 40, 60 ppm) on Bemisia tabaci (Genn.) development were studied at different life stages. Egg, larva, pupa and adult developments were followed after treatments at premature stages and oviposition rate and repellency were investigated after treatments during adult stage. The studies were conducted in walk-in growth chambers under 26±1 oC, 60±5% relative humidity, and 14 hours day-length conditions. The results showed that none of the concentrations affected egg hatch of B. tabaci. When 10, 20, 40 and 60 ppm treatment levels applied on the first stage larva of whitefly, adult emergency ratios were, 56.3%, 38.9%, 25.5% and 0.0%, respectively. In control plots, the ratio was 86.3%. In the third larval stage applications, the adult emergency ratios were 91.1%, 71.1%, 18.9%, 0.0% and 94.4% for 10, 20, 40, and 60 ppm levels and control, respectively. Repellency of azadirachtin was steadily increased at 20, 40 and 60 ppm levels. Furthermore, oviposition rate of B. tabaci adults was not affected by azadirachtin application.
