İçinde bulunduğumuz süratle değişen bilgi ve teknoloji çağında, işletmeler kendilerinin ve çalışanlarının performansını arttırabilmek için teknolojik değişime uyum sağlamak zorunda kalmaktadırlar. Özellikle, halen emek yoğun faaliyetin devam ettiği lojistik sektöründe işletmeler teknoloji transferiyle yeteneklerini artırmakta ve rekabet avantajı elde etmeye çalışmaktadırlar. Bu araştırmanın amacı teknolojik yetenek yatırımları kapsamında teknoloji edinim ve içselleştirmesi kavramlarının lojistik hizmet performansı üzerindeki etkilerini ortaya çıkartmaktır. Bu maksatla 90 adet lojistik işletmesinden elde edilen 542 anketten oluşturulan veri seti SPSS 15 istatistiksel paket program ile analiz edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak teknoloji yatırımlarının lojistik hizmet performansı üzerindeki olumlu etkilerine ilave olarak teknoloji adaptasyonunun bu ilişki üzerindeki ara değişken rolü de ortaya çıkartmıştır.

In today’s rapidly changing technological era, firms compel to adapt to the technological changes in order to enhance the firm and employee performance. Especially in the logistics industry, generally performs as labor intensive, firms enhance their capabilities and acquire competitive advantage through transferring technologies. The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between technology investments and logistics service performance. In this regard, data gathered from 542 employees of 90 logistics service firms have been analyzed by using SPSS 15 statistical program. The results not only reveal the positive effect of new technology investments on the logistics service performance, but also exposed the mediating role of technology adaptation processes on this relationship.
