Çokuluslu Otel Zincirlerinin Büyüme ve Uluslararasılaşma Stratejileri

Bu çalışmada, uluslararası otel grupları ve zincirlerinin büyüme olgusu ve stratejileri incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Uluslararası otel zincirleri bir ülkeye giriş yaptıklarında yerel ortakları ile işbirliğine gitmektedirler. Gerek yerel ortak, gerekse ulusal turizm sektörü açısından bu işbirliğinden en çok yararın sağlanabilmesi için, yabancı otel şirketlerinin ve çalışma yöntemlerinin iyi tanınması gereklidir. Diğer yandan, çokuluslu otel grupları, ulusal otel zincirlerinin uluslararasılaşması için iyi bir örnek oluşturmaktadır. Otel zincirlerinin uluslararası sıralamalarında Güney Kıbrıs, Küba ve Malta gibi ülkelerden şirketler olabilirken, bir Türk otel zinciri bulunmamaktadır.

Growth and Internationalisation Strategies of Multinational Hotel Chains

In the study, growth phenomenon and strategies of international hotel groups and chains were examined. As international hotel chains enter a country, they make cooperation with their local partners. It is necessary to recognise the foreign hotel companies and their working methods in view of both local partner and national tourism industry in order to benefit considerably from this cooperation. On the other hand, multinational hotel groups constitute a good model for the internationalization of national hotel chains. As companies from countries such as South Cyprus, Cuba and Malta are in the international rankings of hotel chains, any Turkish hotel chain does not exist.
